Saturday, April 21 ~ CANDIDATES SEEKING COUNTY POSTS TO SPEAK AT FORUM Candidates running for various offices will speak at a "Meet the Candidates" forum from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the 4-H building of the Greene County Fairgrounds. The Greene County Farm Bureau is sponsoring the event. "This event will give voters a chance to ask questions about issues that mean a lot to them. Candidates will have a good opportunity to express their views on matters important not only to agriculture and rural living, but to the county as a whole," Roland Daniels, President of Greene County Farm Bureau, said in a press release. Most of the candidates who will participate in the forum will be listed on the May 15 primary ballot. The forum is open to the public. Greene County Farm Bureau is a voluntary membership organization, working to advance agriculture and rural communities. It has 308 members. It is affiliated with the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and the American Farm Bureau Federation. DEMOCRATIC COMMITEEE MEETINGS: Friday, April 20 - Tuesday (4/20/07) at 7:00 p.m., Waynesburg VFW.
